I&#8217;ve finally got around to posting my stir fry recipe my Mum and friends have asked for (&#8230;oops :P). It&#8217;s a fun one to make, and as usual quantities are flexible (and you can add\/minus stuff too).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/food\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/2013-10-20-881.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-435\" src=\"\/food\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/2013-10-20-881-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Garlic Stir Fry\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/patmore.net.au\/food\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/2013-10-20-881-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/patmore.net.au\/food\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/2013-10-20-881-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients (Serves 4-6)<\/strong><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>500g chicken breast, cut into small strips<\/li>\n<li>1 tbsp season all<\/li>\n<li>1 tbsp peanut oil (or extra virgin olive oil)<\/li>\n<li>1 cup coriander, coarsely chopped (optional)<\/li>\n<li>1 cup sweet chilli sauce<\/li>\n<li>2 tbsp lime juice (optional)<\/li>\n<li>1 whole garlic bulb, minced<\/li>\n<li>3 tbsp ginger, minced (optional)<\/li>\n<li>3\/4 cup soy sauce<\/li>\n<li>2 cups brown rice<\/li>\n<li>90g tomato paste (optional)<\/li>\n<li>1 500g pkt mixed frozen vegetables (I like Birds Eye Thai Style, <a title=\"Thai Style Frozen Veggies\" href=\"http:\/\/birdseye.com.au\/our-range\/frozen-vegetables\/stir-fry\/thai-style-500g\">click here for info<\/a>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<div><strong>\u00c2\u00a0Method<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>\n<ol>\n<ol>\n<li>Using a rice cooker, cook the brown rice.<\/li>\n<li>Heat the oil on a wok and brown chicken strips on medium heat, seasoning with garlic, ginger and season all.<\/li>\n<li>Add all other ingredients except for the rice &amp; tomato paste. Simmer on medium-low heat for about 20 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Add tomato paste if desired and simmer on medium heat for 5 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Add 3\/4 cup of corinader and stir in.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Serve with rice, using the rest of the coriander to garnish.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note: <\/strong>This dish can also be served with rice noodles; stir these in well during step 4 with a little water, covering the noodles in the sauce.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So, it&#8217;s been a while!
